Looney Ballooney: Privacy Policy

Information we collect

We don’t collect your name, email address, location or any analytics. Looney Ballooney has no user accounts and no sign-in. Your progress and the levels you build are stored on your device, and in your own iCloud account if you switch iCloud sync on.

iCloud sync (optional)

If you switch on iCloud sync in Settings, your progress and your own levels are stored in your private iCloud account and synced between your devices by Apple. Only you can see them; we cannot.

Community levels (optional)

If you share a level online, the level, its name and the nickname you choose are stored in the app’s public iCloud database so other players can find and play it. Your times on shared levels, any ratings you give and any reports you make are stored there too. They are linked to an anonymous ID created by Apple’s iCloud, not to your name or Apple ID.

You can take your levels offline at any time from My Levels. Moderators may remove levels and nicknames that break the community rules.

Taking a level offline does not remove your times, ratings or reports. To have those removed too, email support@pds-technology.ltd and we will delete them.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

Looney Ballooney contains no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking. We do not build any profile of you or of how you play. Nothing is sold, shared or used for tracking.

Contacting support

If you email us at support@pds-technology.ltd, we will receive your email address and whatever you include, and we use that solely to respond to you. We do not use it for marketing or share it with third parties.

Legal basis and your rights

Looney Ballooney collects very little. The community data described above is linked to an anonymous iCloud ID rather than your name, but it can still count as personal data. We process it, and any support correspondence you send us, on the basis of our legitimate interest in running the Community and responding to your enquiries, in line with UK data protection law.

Under UK data protection law you have rights over any personal data we hold about you, including the right to access, correct, or erase it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
