Quick ML — Privacy Policy

Information we collect

We collect no personal data through the app. Quick ML has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no server operated by us. The datasets you import, the models you train, and everything you create stay on your device and are never sent to PDS Technology Ltd.

All data processing — importing and cleaning data, training models, making predictions, and any on-device AI features — happens locally on your iPhone or iPad. We receive none of it.

Syncing between your devices (iCloud)

If you use the app on more than one device signed in to the same Apple ID, your projects and their settings sync through your own iCloud account using Apple’s iCloud and iCloud Drive. This uses your personal Apple storage and is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. PDS Technology Ltd has no access to your iCloud data and receives nothing from it. iCloud sync is automatic when iCloud is enabled on your device and requires no action from us.

Credentials and external connections

Quick ML can import data from sources you choose — a web URL or API, Kaggle, or a PostgreSQL database. When you use these:

• Any credentials you enter (API keys, access tokens, database passwords) are stored only in your device’s secure Keychain. They are never sent to PDS Technology Ltd.
• Connections are made directly from your device to the servers you specify, using your credentials, to fetch the data you choose. We are not an intermediary and do not see or store this traffic or data.

On-device AI features

Some features (for example generating a column from a text description, or text-analysis tools) use Apple’s on-device intelligence and language frameworks. This processing happens locally on your device; the text involved is not sent to PDS Technology Ltd, and no such feature transmits your data to us.

Device permissions

Quick ML may ask permission to access Files (to import data you select) and to add images to your Photo Library (only when you choose to save a chart or exported image). These permissions are used solely for the actions you request, on your device. We receive nothing through them.

Analytics and tracking

Quick ML contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. We do not use cookies or any tracking technologies, and we do not build any profile of you or your usage.

Contacting support

If you email us for support at support@pds-technology.ltd, we will receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and we use that solely to respond to you. We do not use it for marketing or share it with third parties.

Legal basis and your rights

Because the app does not collect personal data, there is normally no personal data for us to hold. Where we do process limited information — for example, support correspondence you send us — we do so on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry, in line with UK data protection law.

Under UK data protection law you have rights over any personal data we hold about you, including the right to access, correct, or erase it. To exercise these rights, or if you have any concerns, contact us at support@pds-technology.ltd or by writing to PDS Technology Ltd, 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
